Rising to the challenge of implementing a complete phone system in just two months, PBXL took responsibility for the whole project. From the initial consultation right through the project management phase to the actual deployment, we were able to entrust them with all the complex system integration tasks with complete peace of mind.

Hirotaka Kojima, Regional Manager, Strategy and Project Management, was responsible for the Lufthansa Cargo Haneda Airport office project. In addition to the phone system, the opening of the new office required an enormous amount of work, meaning that it was necessary to find a system which could be implemented quickly and within budget, with minimum management oversight.
In addition, while there was a systems manager within Lufthansa Cargo, and as a general rule the manager for each office was required to liaise with the systems manager to set up the facilities for individual offices. This created a set of complex administration procedures.
Berthier Associates, who were responsible for the office remodelling, introduced Lufthansa Cargo to PBXL, an experienced telecommunications provider, with whom they had worked with on a previous project. They were happy to call in PBXL after evaluating the firm’s performance and finding their work ethic and ability to perform in a bilingual environment were a perfect match for their customer’s needs.
During the implementation, the role of PBXL’s bilingual managers was critical. The reason for this was that scheduling management and coordination between the in-house Lufthansa Cargo manager and the IT manager in Germany, were both essential.
Great communication, and a flexible, proactive approach, all helped PBXL deliver the project smoothly, despite the time pressure.
The budget was managed by the very cost-conscious German branch office president, who needed a powerful system which also represented tremendous value for money. Our cloud telephony platform slashed implementation and running costs, and enabled Lufthansa to benefit from VOIP calls at very low rates.
The system is easy to use and offers very high call quality even to far flung locations. Thanks to PBXL’s cloud technology voice over internet enabled low-cost calling is always available, for both domestic and overseas destinations.

From choosing the location of the office through to opening we were on a very tight schedule. Despite these challenges, the overall process was extremely smooth and the project was delivered on the agreed date.
I am very grateful that they undertook everything from linking with Lufthansa’s system, and the often time consuming coordination with the head office in Germany, to a level which exceeded our expectations.
After implementation, when we contacted the service desk regarding the charges list and settings for scan-to-email, the service we received was extremely good. I firmly believe that we will be able to continue depend on PBXL long into the future…
