Call Pickup allows you to pick up someone else’s telephone call.
For instance, if someone’s phone is ringing, and they are away from their desk, you can pick the call from your phone. Please note that the phone will not go to voicemail if picked up.
If 2 (or more) phones are ringing at the same time, Group Pickup and Directed Pickup let you determine which call to answer.
Group Pickup allows a user to answer the first phone that rang within your preset pickup group, prevent you from unintentionally answering unrelated calls.
Directed Call Pickup allows the pickup of a specific ringing extension.
Of course, if the user has “Call Forwarding” and/or voicemail setup, rather than picking up the call, it automatically forwards selected calls in set conditions.
Directed Call Pickup is only available in Standard license.
